William Christopher (born October 20, 1932 in Evanston, Illinois) is an American actor who is virtually all easily-known for swimming Father Mulcahy on the television series M*A*S*H and Private Lester Hummel in Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.
When attending Just released Trier High School within Winnetka, Illinois, he went to Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut in 1954. He majored within drama and was active within fencing, soccer, singing with a glee club & performing within various dramatic performances.
